Hiya~ Ren here bringing Wei WuXian, from the Mo Dao Zu Shi novel! (and excited to play with fellow castmates who are apping in from The Untamed). I'm bringing him in at the end of the novel's final extra chapter, so his canon is effectively complete here with nothing changed in the chronology, but that doesn't mean it can't be expanded on or have resolutions happen that didn't. Since his husband is here from an earlier time point, he'll likely be sticking to him and reliving the earlier years before he had died the first time, but he's friendly and chatty enough to talk to others and bother them.
As for who he is, Wei WuXian is someone who has, in not so many words, experienced severe mental trauma throughout his entire first life as early as about age four up until his death. Even upon reviving in a new body he's reminded of his past in various (often regretful) ways but outwardly remains fairly cheerful, although he does finally get that true happiness in the end in the form of his husband. Despite being a walking ball of trauma, he does alright for himself in his new life and plays things off usually with a smile just so that he doesn't worry others around him or make them pity him, which can land him in hot water at times. (Pretty typical of someone who could likely be diagnosed with PTSD or its nastier sibling: C-PTSD)
He's also an insufferable gremlin when it comes to Lan WangJi and talking about him. He can't help it, he loves the man that much. Not to mention, the man has absolutely no shame and is prideful of it.
